The Inventory Module

The Inventory module tracks the items used by your organization to maintain your assets. This module tracks descriptive and cost information about the item and vendors from whom the item is purchased and quantities on hand. Inventory availability is tracked by stock room.

In addition, the Inventory module supports the management of rotating / serialized items. Serial numbers can be tracked and items can be rotated in and out of production.

To access the Inventory module:

1. Click the Open icon on the toolbar or click the Module Menu control.

   The module menu displays.

2. On the module menu, click Inventory.

   • If you accessed the module menu from the Open option on the toolbar, the inventory list and the Inventory Work Center page displays.

   • If you accessed the module menu from the Module Menu control, the inventory list displays, but the content of the Work Center will not change until you have selected a record.
