System Integrity Checks

There are two tables displayed on the Open Events page, the"login screen":

  • EPA Limit Exceeded: Open Events table displays the list of refrigeration systems for which the Annual EPA Leak Rate (Projected and Rolling Average) currently exceeds maximum allowable EPA thresholds.
  • System Integrity Checks Required table displays the list of currently opened SIC events in the system.

System Integrity Checks Required table

Verification of leak repair must occur within a certain number of days from the initial add/repair or as per system type's pre-determined interval.

Service Providers are notified in ERM when a system integrity check has been opened by it being displayed on their login screen .

The columns in the System Integrity Checks Required table are as follows:

Column Description
SIC Event Number This column has a hyperlink that navigates the user to a screen for closing the SIC Event
Days Open

This column does not have any hyperlink associated with it. The System Integrity Checks event is required as following conditions:

  • Gray: Not Available for check. The current date is within the defined lockout period whereby a repair verification is not allowed
  • Green: Available for check. The Leak Repair Verification event has been opened within the defined Leak Repair Verification timeline
  • Red: Check overdue. Leak Repair Verification event is considered overdue, as it has been opened longer than the defined Leak Repair Verification overdue period
Check Type

There are two types of SIC events: "Post Repair" and "Interval."

In ERM only Post Repair system integrity check events are displayed.

Date Last Checked Displays the last date the system was checked
Site Site number for which the SIC event is open
System System for which the SIC event is open
Event # Number for the event
Last Added Last refrigerant amount added to the system
System Status Current status of the system

Close the SIC event in ERM

After selecting a value in the "SIC Event Number" column on the System Integrity Checks Required table, the user is sent to the System Integrity Check detail screen for closing the SIC Event.

Once the required information on the screen is completed, select the "Save" button and the SIC event under consideration will be closed.

The details of each field and section of this screen are given below:

Field/Section Description
System Integrity Check Due

Displays SIC event-related detail as displayed in ERM

  • Type: This field displays the check type of the selected SIC event.
  • Due Date: This field displays the due date of the selected SIC event.
  • Days Outstanding: This field displays the outstanding days of the selected SIC event.
Client Read-only field displaying the client name
Site Read-only section displaying the site name and details
Site System

Read-only section displaying the site system name and details

After selecting the "View Detail" button, a pop-up containing system details is generated

Asset Tag

Displays the associated asset tag when the refrigerant event has been recorded

  • If an asset tag has been used on the Record New Event form, this field will be pre-populated with the asset tag
  • If no asset tag is used on the Record New Event form, then this field will not be pre-populated with the asset tag.
Refrigerant Type Read-only field automatically populated with the refrigerant type of the system
Amount Added (lbs) Read-only field automatically populated with the refrigerant amount (in pounds) added to the system
Amount Recovered (lbs) Read-only field automatically populated with the refrigerant amount (in pounds) recovered on the system
Date of Service Required field to indicate the date when the SIC event is being closed
Work Order Number Optional free text field to indicate the work order number when the SIC event is being closed
Leak Status Read-only field automatically populated with the leak status (whenever the refrigerant event is recorded, the leak status will be indicated)
Leak Location Read-only field automatically populated with the leak location (whenever the refrigerant event is recorded, the leak location will be indicated)
Leak Check Method Required dropdown menu to indicate the leak check methods
2nd Leak Check Method Optional dropdown menu to indicate any additional leak check methods
Fault Code Required field for indicating the fault code
Action Code Required field for indicating the fault code
Technician Required dropdown menu for indicating the technician
Technician Comments Required free text field for entering technician comments

SIC events in the central application

Client users may also view a list of system integrity checks for their company in the central application by navigating to: Service > ERM Events > System Integrity Checks .

Configuration of functionality

The functionality can be turned on or off for any roles. To turn the function on or off, please consult your Verisae representative.

Other notes

Users may also close System Integrity Checks (SIC) events in the central application and Kiosk.
