Calendar and Schedule Setup
This page lists all calendars and schedules for sites, systems, utilities, departments, and locations.
The following information is shown for each calendar in a smart table:

Name: The calendar or schedule name

Type: Indicates what kind of information is on the calendar (Control Actions, Equipment, Occupancy, Operations)

Alias: Another name or shorthand description of the calendar

Description: Calendar description
-
Setpoint generated
-
Parent calendar: The calendar on which this one is based and/or borrows attributes
Select a calendar to view/update it, or click New to create a new calendar.
The following pages are available for each calendar:
Calendar Criteria
Calendar criteria determines which asset or location displays on the calendar. For each of the following criteria types, you can select an item within that criteria (for example, a site for the Site type criteria).
Select a current criteria value to view/edit it. Click New to add criteria. You can add multiple criteria to a calendar.
Manage Events
This page let you mange the selected schedule or calendar via a smart table. Select a linked item (blue lettering) in the smart table to view/edit its details.
The following information displays in a smart table:

Name: The name of the event, usually identifying the day of the event (Monday, Tuesday, Summer Mondays, and so on) (read only)

Type: The type of event (Special case, Special circumstance maintenance, Holiday, Regular maintenance, Month, Season, Day of week)
-
Timeslot label: Indicates the label or status related to the event (such as occupied or operating)
-
Start date: The beginning of the date range in which the event will be recurring
-
End date: The end of the date range in which the event will be recurring
-
Timeslot: The start and end time for the event.
If not set, click Schedule and configure the following to set the timeslot:

Site status: The status of the site or location for the scheduled timeslot (occupied or unoccupied)
-
Timeslot label: Indicates the label or status related to the event (such as occupied or operating)
-
Occupied time: The amount of time during the timeslot in which the site or location will be occupied
-
Unoccupied time: The amount of time during the timeslot in which the site or location will be unoccupied
-
Effective start date: The beginning of the date range in which the timeslot will be recurring
-
Effective end date: The end of the date range in which the timeslot will be recurring
-
Setpoints: Displays for equipment type calendars only
You can view the following when you select a setpoint:

System variable: Select the system variable for the option to change it to another system variable
-
Device type: The device type for the system variable
-
Component : The system component or category of device (air conditioner unit, boiler, and so on)

UOM: Unit of measurement
-
Occupied : The number of hours in the day the system component is on
-
Unoccupied: The number of hours in the day the system component is off
The following options are available at the bottom of the page:
-
Add events: Allows you to select pre-defined events and add them to the calendar or schedule
-
New event: Allows you to create a new event with a new Event name to the calendar or schedule
You can configure the following:
-
Name: The name of the event, usually identifying the day of the event (Monday, Tuesday, Summer Mondays, and so on) (read only)

Event type: The type of event (Special case, Special cirucumstance maintenance, Holiday, Regular maintenance, Month, Season, Day of week)
-
Recurrence: How the event recurs (fluctuates, one-time event, or same day each month, week, or year)
-
Example start date: The beginning of the date range in which the event will be recurring
-
Example end date: The end of the date range in which the event will be recurring
-
Remove selected events: removes any selected events in the smart table from the calendar or schedule
-
Set schedule for selected: Lets you set the timeslot for any selected events in the smart table
You can configure the following:
-
Set behavior: Determines what to do with timeslots that are already scheduled (either Create new or Overwrite existing timeslots)
-
Site status: The status of the site or location for the scheduled timeslot (occupied or unoccupied)
-
Timeslot label: Indicates the label or status related to the event (such as occupied or operating)
-
Occupied time: The amount of time during the timeslot in which the site or location will be occupied
-
Unoccupied time: The amount of time during the timeslot in which the site or location will be unoccupied
This page lets you manage the selected schedule or calendar via a calendar view, showing the calendar as a week, month, day, or list view.
Select an event on the calendar to view/edit its details, or click on the calendar for the day and time on which you want a new event to occur. Event details include:

Event name (read only): The name of the event, usually identifying the day of the event (Monday, Tuesday, Summer Mondays, and so on)

Timeslot label: Indicates the label or status related to the event (such as occupied or operating)
-
Start time: The start date and time for the event
-
End time: The end date and time for the event
-
Date range: The date range in which the event will be recurring, based on a season or month, or some other category in which the effective start and end dates are pre-defined; using this option displays another Date range field showing the effective start and end dates for the range selected

Effective start date: The beginning of the date range in which the event will be recurring
-
Effective end date: The end of the date range in which the event will be recurring
-
check boxes indicating the days of the week on which the event will occur
Create a one-time event with a new Event name.

Click a blank area on the calendar for the day and time on which you want the event to occur.

Open the Event menu and select Add new.
-
Enter the new event Name.
-
Set the Event type to Special case, Special circumstance maintenance, or Holiday.
-
Set the Recurrence to One-time event.
This is the only option.

Save the new event name and fill in the rest of the details for the one-time event.
