Estimate and Quote Review Settings

Estimate threshold days: Determines the number of days after submitting an estimate that, if not reviewed, the system automatically rejects and sets the work order status to Service Complete

This only applies to first level estimate approvals.

Quote threshold days: Determines the number of days a submitted quote is valid for reviewing

Response requested in (days): Determines the number of day within quote and estimate submission that reviews are requested

Entry of start and complete date (required): Determines when you enter the start and complete dates for a quote

• Use standard work order SLA for approved quote: Start and complete dates are determined by standard work order SLA after the quote is approved

• When approving a quote: Start and complete dates should be entered when approving a quote

• When creating a quote: Start and complete dates should be entered when creating a quote

Required quote start date (required): Select Yes to make Quote Start Date mandatory

Required quote complete date (required): Select Yes to make Quote Complete Date mandatory

Require quote accept/decline: Select Yes to require that quotes be either accepted or declined, not left alone

Allow internal provider quote: Select Yes to allow internal providers to submit quotes

Uses NTE: Select Yes to include Not to Exceed (NTE) amounts for quotes and estimates

Use excluded charges in quotes: Select Yes to allow excluded charges to be included in quotes

Use quote itemization: Select Yes to be able to input and view quotes broken down by line items

Use estimate itemization: Select Yes to be able to input and view estimates broken down by line items

Allow quote linking

Minimum providers required for quote: Determines the number of providers required for a quote

Block and decline expired quotes: Select Yes to block and decline all quotes not approved before their threshold

Block approvals until all responded: Select Yes to require all reviewers to approve quotes and estimates before proceeding

1st level quote approval threshold: Set an amount of money above which first level approval is required for a quote or estimate

You can set a value for both Single Vendor and Multiple Vendors quotes and estimates

1st level quote approval acknowledgment over threshold text: The text displayed to first level reviewers indicating their approval is needed for the quote or estimate

You can define the text for both Single Vendor and Multiple Vendors quotes and estimates

You can set these options for up to seven approval levels, corresponding to increased quote and estimate amounts for each level
