Note:
Fields and field names are often tailored by your organization during configuration. Contact your System Administrator for further information about the fields on this page.
A number of default values are populated into fields on your new work order. For some fields, values are always populated. In other cases, defaults are based on your organization's configuration.

-
Populated from Asset
These values are populated from the asset associated with the work order:
-
Repair Center
-
Shop
-
Account
-
Department
-
Customer
-
Zone
-
Populated from Problem
Problems can be defined so that they automatically populate other values. For example, certain problems might always need to be routed to the 'Electrical' shop, or have a particular procedure associated with them.
-
Populated from Procedure
If a procedure is specified for a new work order, any default values for that procedure will be assigned to the work order. For example, procedures can be associated with a particular work order type, priority, target hours, or project. In addition, if the procedure has tasks, estimated costs, or attachments defined, these are added to the newly created work order.
